Reigate and Banstead Borough Council - our local council who own most of Banstead Commons and provide most of the funding for the BCC. Downland Countryside Management Project - involved in chalkland management over a large area of the North Downs in Surrey, including the Commons.

Common Land  
Council for the Protection of Rural England - exists to promote the beauty, tranquility and diversity of rural England by encouraging the sustainable use of land and other natural resources in town and country. Open Spaces Society - exists to protect common land and public rights of way.  OSS was one of the original protagonists who ensured the future of Banstead Commons back in the nineteenth century.

The Epsom & Ewell RSPB the local groupfor those interested in birds, they  meet once a month in Ewell and hold regular bird watching trips.
Royal Society for the Protection of Birds - the national birdlife society.
Surrey Bird Club - a society of people interested in wild birds in the county of Surrey. Plantlife the only national membership charity dedicated exclusively to conserving all forms of plant life in its natural habitat.
London Natural History Society - devoted to the study and conservation of wildlife in and around London. Orchids of Britain and Europe - a new site dedicated to wild orchids
